Questions
Before you begin.
Practical answers about the school, the formats, pricing, and how the work begins.
Is the Dance School replacing Ernesto's private lessons?
No. The existing private-lesson practice remains separate and unchanged. The Dance School is an additional, structured programme for dancers who want a longer arc, a peer group, or a performance horizon.
Do I need experience to join?
No. The First Step and The Workshop are designed for people starting from wherever they are. More experienced dancers can enter through a placement conversation so the programme meets them at the right level.
What is the difference between the three formats?
Individual programmes are personalised instruction for one dancer. Couples programmes give two people dedicated instruction together, at a higher total price. Small-group programmes share one instructor-led session among up to four participants, so the total is higher than the couples total while the cost per person is lower. Small groups do not receive the same individual attention as a private student.
How are the twelve programmes different?
There are three formats and four durations. A one-month programme is a focused entry point. Three months establishes a foundation. Six months develops repertoire and performance. Ten months is the full artistic or company arc. The right entry point is agreed in a placement conversation.
How much does a programme cost?
Individual programmes are $460 a month for one participant (1 month $460, 3 months $1,311, 6 months $2,484, 10 months $3,910). Couples programmes are $560 a month and cover both people together (1 month $560, 3 months $1,596, 6 months $3,024, 10 months $4,760). Small-group programmes are $720 a month for up to four participants together, not per person (1 month $720, 3 months $2,052, 6 months $3,888, 10 months $6,120). Three-, six-, and ten-month programmes can be paid in equal monthly installments. Larger casts, productions, and custom work are quoted individually.
Can you create a programme for a performance team or cast?
Small groups of up to four are covered by the small-group programmes. Professional dance crews, performers, artists, concerts, stage productions, live shows, music videos, and complex custom choreography are quoted individually. Share the performer count, timeline, and creative goals in the enquiry form and the school will follow up with a scope.
Where is the school available?
Seattle is the founding home and programme enquiries are open. Los Angeles and New York City are initial target markets, subject to confirmation of local delivery. Nationwide expansion is a longer-term ambition, not a confirmed service. The city cards on this page show the current status.
Who leads the programmes?
Ernesto Ebreu leads the creative curriculum and teaching. Teaching collaborators and city-specific delivery details are confirmed per programme. No local studio partnership, address, or instructor roster is implied until it is announced.
How do I ask about a private client booking?
Private client booking links are issued only after a programme and schedule have been agreed directly with the school. There is no public booking calendar. Contact contact@vpdance.com or +1 646-972-1769 to begin.
