The details
Everything before the first lesson.
Most people arrive with the same few worries: that they have no rhythm, that they will feel silly, or that they need a partner. None of those are obstacles. Lessons are built for real life.
10 questions
Do I need any dance experience to start?
No. Most clients begin with little or no partner-dance experience. Lessons start from where you are, and the pace adjusts as you go. The complimentary 30-minute intro is a low-pressure way to meet, talk through your goals, and try a few basics.
What happens in a private lesson?
Private lessons are 60 minutes and designed around your goals. A typical session includes a warm-up or review, new material, and time to run things in context. You will leave with something specific to practise. For celebration choreography, later lessons shift toward styling, timing, and rehearsal.
How many lessons will I need?
It depends on the occasion, your timeline, and how much polish you want. Some couples feel ready after five lessons; others prefer eight, twelve, or more. The intro consultation is the best way to get an honest recommendation for your specific date and song.
Can we choose our own music?
Yes. Your song is usually the starting point. If you are undecided, we can talk through options that suit the style, the venue, and the way you want the moment to feel.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons are arranged by appointment in Seattle. Share your preferred area and any location constraints in your enquiry, and the studio will confirm the exact arrangement with you before your first session.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes you can move in and shoes that stay securely on your feet. Avoid rubber soles that grip too much if you are working on turns. If you have a specific routine or venue in mind, mention it and we can advise before the lesson.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Plans change. Contact the studio as early as possible if you need to move a session, and we will help you find another time. The specific terms for your booking are confirmed when your request is accepted.
Can you choreograph for a performance or an artist?
Yes. Custom and artist choreography are quoted individually based on scope, rehearsals, and timeline. Use the booking form to share the project, and the studio will follow up with next steps.
Do you offer lessons for groups?
Group and small-ensemble work is considered case by case — for example, a bridal party or a birthday routine. Tell us the group size and occasion in your enquiry and we will confirm what is possible.
How do I book?
Choose a service and an available time through the booking page, or send an enquiry through the contact form. Your request is reviewed by the studio before it is confirmed. Nothing is charged online.

Ready when you are
Ask, or simply begin.
The complimentary intro consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. Bring your questions, your music, and your date — or none of the above.
