Who is responsible

This website is operated for Ernesto Ebreu, a dance instruction and choreography business serving Seattle, Washington. The studio is the controller of the personal information described here. Website design and marketing management are provided by WLC Marketing Agency on the studio's behalf.

Information collected

When you submit a lesson request or contact enquiry, the site collects:

• Your name, email address, and optional phone number.
• The service, lesson format, or topic you are interested in.
• The date and time you request, where applicable.
• Any goals, notes, or message content you choose to provide.
• Your consent to this policy.
• A hashed form of your IP address for spam and abuse prevention. The original address is not stored by the rate limiter.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, payment card details, or health information in a booking or contact form.

Why it is used

• To review and respond to your enquiry or lesson request.
• To confirm, reschedule, or manage an appointment.
• To send transactional emails about your request.
• To prevent spam, abuse, and duplicate submissions.
• To keep business records and meet legal obligations.

The site does not sell personal information, and it does not use your details for unrelated marketing without a separate basis for doing so.

Email delivery

Transactional email may be delivered through Resend, an email service provider, using the contact details you provide. Messages are also stored in the studio's booking and enquiry records so that a request is not lost if email delivery fails.

Cookies and local storage

The public website does not set advertising cookies. The administrative area uses a single, secure session cookie so that authorised studio staff can sign in. That cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and expires after eight hours. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are loaded by default.

Retention

Booking and enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and maintain reasonable business records. Rate-limit records are short-lived. You can ask for your enquiry or booking information to be deleted where there is no legal or operational reason to keep it.

Service providers

Information may be processed by the website host, the email delivery provider, and the studio's website management agency, strictly for the purposes described above. Providers are expected to protect the data they handle.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or withdraw consent for future contact, by sending a request through the contact form. Please include enough detail for us to identify your request. Some records may be retained where the law requires it.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect submitted information, including encrypted transport, restricted administrative access, and hashed tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

The website is intended for adults making their own enquiries. It is not directed to children under 13, and the studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site.

Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when material changes are made.
