About the studio
Movement with a point of view.
Ernesto Ebreu brings two decades of dancing, teaching, and performing to a practice built on clarity, warmth, and real-world confidence. VP Dance Academy is the collaboration between Ernesto Ebreu and Wealth City Agency.

Ernesto Ebreu
A New York foundation. A Seattle practice.
Ernesto Ebreu is a New York City native who has spent twenty years dancing, teaching, and performing. His work moves across American ballroom, Latin, house, Afro-Cuban, and hip-hop — a wide vocabulary grounded in the fundamentals of partner work and musicality.
In 2017 he took the helm of a dance studio in Queens, New York. That experience shaped his teaching: lessons should be specific enough to create real change, but human enough to keep the joy in the room.
He now teaches privately in Seattle, working with adults who want to feel at home on a dance floor — for a wedding, a performance, a birthday, or simply because they have always wanted to learn.
The path
Built one room at a time.
A practice shaped by the places he has danced, the people he has taught, and the styles he has spent years learning from the inside.
A city that moves
Ernesto grew up in New York City, where dance was less a hobby than a constant background rhythm. Two decades later, that foundation still shapes how he teaches: grounded, musical, and unpretentious.
Dancing, teaching, performing
His experience spans American ballroom, Latin, house, Afro-Cuban, and hip-hop — as a dancer, a teacher, and a performer. The range is not a gimmick; it is a working vocabulary he draws on for each client.
Taking the helm
Ernesto took the helm of a dance studio in Queens, New York. Leading a studio sharpened the part of teaching that matters most: making complex movement understandable for real people with real schedules.
The next chapter
Today he teaches private lessons and choreography in Seattle, working with beginners, couples, and performers. The approach is the same: clear instruction, honest feedback, and a room where it is safe to try.

The approach
Clear instruction. Honest feedback.
Good teaching is not about showing off what the instructor can do. It is about finding the one adjustment that unlocks the movement for you — and then giving you enough repetition to own it.
- No jargon for the sake of it; explanations you can use.
- Corrections that respect your body, your pace, and your goals.
- A plan for each session, and a clear sense of what comes next.
- Room for play, because dancing should still feel like dancing.
